Concealed Blade which cuts thick materials

Stainless steel blade SKB-16 can cut through thick materials such as carpet, rubber sheets, double-wall cartons, stretch film and strapping bands, meeting the needs of heavy users.

CAUTION
(1) While cutting, do not shake, pry, or twist the handle as these may break the blade.
(2) When blade seems dull, replace it promptly.
(3) If cardboard is wet or worn, it may be difficult to cut. Do not cut forcibly.
(4) If blade is used with adhesive material stuck to it, cutting may be disturbed.

Safety Design

Minimum blade exposure between 2 plastic guards comes close neither to your fingers nor to the goods inside. Concealed blade design allows for continual blade exposure for repetitive, demanding cutting jobs.

Simple Blade Change

Blade release can be easily activated from either side of the handle. SKB-16 keeps the blade exposure the same as when loaded, adding to the level of safety.

Ergonomically designed grip is comfortable and tough. 

Working efficiency is improved with the SK-16’s ergonomically designed comfortable grip. Blade attachment, connector segment and handle grip are made of glass-fiber reinforced resins for professional uses.

Acetone resistance

The SK-16 is solvent resistant and can be cleaned with acetone or other chemicals to remove paint or other solvent-based liquids.
